2012 AAFEA Training Workshop

The African American Federal Executive Association, Inc. invites you to attend the 2012 Training Workshop, April 30 - May 2, 2012 in Newport News, VA at the Newport News Marriott at City Center.

This three day event features workshops and presentations that focus on the programs, policies, practices and processes that promote career-enhancing opportunities and the core subjects critical for becoming members of SES. More than 800 federal employees have benefited from AAFEA's mission and our workshop leaders include current and retired members of the SES, Ivy League faculty, and corporate executives.

AAFEA is pleased to announce that the Honorable John Berry, Director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has agreed to speak at the 2012 AAFEA Training Workshop. Many other distinguished speakers are also scheduled to attend.

This workshop is intended for government employees and military personnel. The sessions are geared towards professionals with experience at the GS-13 and above level (or equivalent outside the federal government). AAFEA membership is not required to attend the workshop and all leadership aspirants, regardless of ethnicity are welcome.
